With a view to build a world-class materials research base equipped with state-of-the-art research tools, the Public Technology Platform focuses on the constructions of the Neutron Science Platform, the Materials Preparation and Characterization Platform, the Micro-fabrication and Devices Platform, the Materials Computation and Database Platform, and other sub-platforms. It aims to independently build large-scale scientific facilities that could “Intelligently Manufacture Materials,” in order to provide sustained, professional, advanced scientific and technical support and train future talents for the nation’s materials research and key technological breakthroughs.
The platform will provide general technical services for universities, scientific research institutions and enterprises around Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, and provide stable, professional, advanced scientific, technological support for materials science research, innovation and breakthroughs.
