The High Magnetic Field Group is based on the Wuhan National High Magnetic Field Center of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, concentrating on the research of high pulsed magnetic field technology and applications. After years of development, the team has coalesced a robust research team specializing in pulsed power technology and high magnetic field technology.
The team proposed the manufacturing approach of "demagnetization assembly - overall magnetization and demagnetization" for large-scale permanent magnet electrical equipment, surmounted technical obstacles such as the structural stability control of the magnetization system under intense electromagnetic shock, the fabrication of magnetization coils under space-constrained conditions, and the online detection of the consistency of residual
magnetism of magnetic poles. It established the overall magnetization and demagnetization technology system for permanent magnet electrical equipment and developed the sole integrated magnetization and demagnetization equipment for large polar surfaces worldwide, achieving a significant innovation in the manufacturing technology of permanent magnet equipment.In April 2023, the team's industrialization company, Dongguan Cimai Electrical Technology Co., Ltd., was formally established in Songshan Lake, with the contract amount exceeding one million yuan in the first year.

1、Large permanent magnet equipment overall charge demagnetization products(大型永磁设备整体充退磁产品)
The permanent magnet pole is the key component of permanent magnet electrical equipment, and the quality of magnetization is crucial to its performance. The current magnetization process, which adopts the technology of magnetization before assembly, has several drawbacks, including susceptibility to magnetization and poor safety. Consequently, it is difficult to fulfill the development demands of high-end manufacturing of permanent magnet electrical equipment, such as permanent magnet wind turbines and magnetic resonance imaging. Our team has put forward the technology of "zero-magnetic assembly before overall magnetization" for large-scale complex permanent magnet electrical equipment. This enables safe, convenient, and cost-effective magnetization and demagnetization and will bring revolutionary breakthroughs to the manufacturing process of permanent magnet equipment.
2、Large component electromagnetic forming products(大型构件电磁成形产品)
Electromagnetic forming is a distinctive energy field processing approach that utilizes pulsed electromagnetic force for the plastic processing of components. It possesses the attributes of high speed and non-contact, capable of significantly enhancing the forming limit of materials, suppressing wrinkling, and reducing spring back, among others. It holds substantial application potential in the domain of lightweight component forming and manufacturing. To address the issues of low forming capacity and poor adaptability associated with traditional electromagnetic forming technology, our team pioneered the multi-space-time high pulsed magnetic field forming technology worldwide, supported by the national "973" program. Through achieving multi-stage formation in time and multi-directional electromagnetic force distribution in space, it offers a novel technical means for the forming and manufacturing of hard-to-form plate and tube components in aerospace. It is anticipated to facilitate the transformation of electromagnetic forming from traditional auxiliary forming to direct integral control forming.
