Introduction

Project Introduction

Two-dimensional materials is one kind of new material with one or several atomic thickness. There are strong chemical bonds between atoms within two-dimensional layer while the adjacent layers are usually stacked together by weaker Van der Waals (VDW)force. The important factor to support the development of two-dimensional materials is itself and its dimensions, which owns the unique physical properties associated with interfaces and broad prospects for application etc. Two-dimensional atom crystal materials of high quality plays a significant role in exploring new physical phenomenon and further extending its application in micro-electronics and photo-electron. From the initial micro/nano electronic devices and photoelectric devices to spin-electron devices and valley polarization devices, then two-dimensional materials is used in the optical/electrical catalysts, lithium battery and solar cell fields etc. Two-dimensional materials is predicted to be widely used for new generation of electronic information and energy storage areas.
